Bad Guys in Bathing Suits

This morning we decided to go play at the lake before the crowds all got there. As we were scurrying around looking for goggles and swim shoes and towels and etc, poor Emily came into my room with the saddest little face and asked me, "Mommy, did bad guys in swim suits come to our house last night and steal my goggles?"
It seems we have a goggles-eating swimming pool.  This is the second pair that has disappeared after being left in the water all night.  Hmm... do you suppose I put too much chemical in the water?

  1. LOL! Poor Emily! I want to see your swimming pool ~ oh, no, wait, than I'd covet. Maybe we should just hop on down there and go swimming with you. Wouldn't that be fun.

Thanks for your prayers. I'm feeling so much better today, I can hardly believe it. I was afraid I was doomed to feeling 85 for the rest of my short life. (really) Why am I so surprised when God answers our prayers? Now I just have to think of something to blog about ~ hmmm, if I only had a brain (another prayer request. :)). Have a good day dear. Today I feel like just being by the poolside gabbing with you as our girls play. Perhaps you could use a tad less chemicals. :)

Well, let's straighten out the false impressions here.... our "pool" is 10 feet in diameter and 2 feet deep. We have no "poolside" to lounge on, just gravel. And if you all came over to go swimming, the pool would be VERY crowded! lol!! (I can just picture that! ha ha!)
