  5. I was wondering if we could be friends. I'm friends with Alizona and think your blog is wonderful!

I'm the oldest of seven and the name "swordwieldingmaiden" is based off of the concept of wielding the Sword of the Spirit, the Word of God.

May God bless you and your family!

  7. Thanks so much for the reply on my Friday Column. :)

That's so sad that you're not allowed to feed the birds where you are. It seems so strange that the "powers that be" would think this would be a bad thing for the birds or something.... :/ But then again, if you have a problem with pigeons & doves, they may not want them to get fed! LOL ;)

In the downtown area of Fort Worth, as well as around any & all shopping areas, have a horrible problem with great flocks of grackle... Thankfully they don't tend to congregate in residential areas. (I'm just 3+/- miles from downtown, so I'm VERY thankful!)

Sorry about the pigeons & rock doves! (And no, other than suet or something like the other columns this week have mentioned - using the pbutter rolled in seeds. The pigeons make appearances at my bird feeder and one perseverent one was able to actually get on the little thing... had to have one wing open at an odd angle and lift one foot, so he/she was quite the balancing act. They do like the seed, but I don't think they'd like peanut butter. Might make a good science experiment! LOL

  8. I love your Amy! Well, the others are pretty special, too :-)!!!

We got the magazines and I've been amazed at how the children are REALLY enjoying them. Lillie's quoting the interesting facts and riddles, Aubrey has been trying her hand at the drawing exercises, and Samuel has been coloring the pictures that can be colored. What fun! Thanks so much! What a generous family you have.

God bless you Johnson family :-), Julie
