Whew, we are home. It was sooo wonderful to come home to a clean house, courtesy of my beloved children, who cleaned the house from top to bottom the day before we left for Missouri. I'll have to post some photos of our trip in my month-in-review entry for May, but that might be a few days. Or hours. In the meantime, I wanted to share this:
A cycling friend has posted photos of Flat Stanley's trip to the desert. For all you geography buffs or Flat Stanley fans, or for those of you who are interested in what it looks like around here, click right HERE. (Hurry, I don't know how long this will be up!)

Hey! I was on looking at my friends pics of family camp. It looks like y'all had a wonderful time at camp. Glad you are back home safely. Talk with you later.

Flat stanley is cool!
ReplyDeleteI loved all the pictures! My pastor is big into biking. I am getting ready to finish making payments on a bike...I love how AZ (well, at least our town) is a bike friendly town with bike lanes all over the place! I can't wait to start riding.

That was hysterical!!! Fun seeing more of what your fair area is like too. I forwarded the site to Jeff at the office, I'm sure he will enjoy seeing it - and perhaps it will whet his appitite to head for the desert.
ReplyDeleteYou know you're a bikers wife when you can name the brand of bikes by seeing the paint job -- (Bianci Green). What's with all the hot cars at Oatman? Is that a usual or was there something special going on there?
Sally, so glad you guys made it back safely, I'm sure you have some tales to tell...can't wait to hear them.
ReplyDeleteI looked at the pictures and was so impressed with the enormity and vastness of the desert! It looks like such a beautiful place but at the same time it could kill ya :-). The Flat Stanley on the prickly pear was priceless!
Glad your home,
Blessings, Julie
