Today's goal is to get all the girls' bedding washed and packed without running out of soft water, and then we will tackle whatever is living UNDER the beds. *grimace* We are going to be camping out for the next 10 days, and then we'll hit the road in whatever array or disarray we happen to be in when the deadline comes!
I thought I was making progress, but our stuff seems to be multiplying furiously while I sleep at night.
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage;
be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed:
for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
Joshua 1:9
That is GREAT that you have a buyer for your appliances! Have a nice campout! 11 more days!
ReplyDeleteMoving is educational. Maybe they could write a short report on the anticipated benefits to living in Minnesota. (Notice I said short).
11 days till you head out! It will go by so fast. Praying you get it all packed and ready to unload at the other end.
ReplyDeleteCamping for 11 days would be interesting. Why not just declare yourself official unschoolers and not worry about finishing this year perfectly. They will be learning plenty with this move. :-)
ReplyDeleteJenn, I am seriously considering that... don't tell my kids. :)
ReplyDeleteI would go with the unschooling thought. They'll remember this adventure without reports :)
ReplyDeleteWhen we would drive cross county, Blondie would have the atlas with her and she would trace our route, figuring where we were and how far to the next stop.
What an adventure. I really don't envy you ;)
Here.. this kept me sane and from popping the real bubble wrap..
