Overheard in My House

(Not my Emily.  The hair is the only resemblance.)

Mom:  Emily, have you brushed your hair today?

Emily:  Yes.

Mom, smiling:  Which one?

Emily:  Both.

Sixteen year old daughter:  "No one understands me!"

(Spoken while muttering in Hebrew all the day long.)

אני אוהב אותך, את הבת שלי.

  3. LOL about the hair. Hair brushing (or lack there of)is a constant battle at my house.

And I'm impressed Alison is doing well enough to be muttering in Hebrew! Way to go!

  6. This dialogue reminds me of "Kids Say the Darndest Things" or "Candid Camera." Hilarious, and I love the fact that your daughter corrected you on the translator--LOL!! I was just checking in on you and loving your January review. I'm glad to see that things are well.
