Sing the Wondrous Love of Jesus
Sing the wondrous love of Jesus,
Sing His mercy and His grace.
In the mansions bright and blessèd
He’ll prepare for us a place.
Sing His mercy and His grace.
In the mansions bright and blessèd
He’ll prepare for us a place.
Refrain
When we all get to Heaven,
What a day of rejoicing that will be!
When we all see Jesus,
We’ll sing and shout the victory!
What a day of rejoicing that will be!
When we all see Jesus,
We’ll sing and shout the victory!
While we walk the pilgrim pathway,
Clouds will overspread the sky;
But when traveling days are over,
Not a shadow, not a sigh.
Clouds will overspread the sky;
But when traveling days are over,
Not a shadow, not a sigh.
Refrain
Let us then be true and faithful,
Trusting, serving every day;
Just one glimpse of Him in glory
Will the toils of life repay.
Trusting, serving every day;
Just one glimpse of Him in glory
Will the toils of life repay.
Refrain
Onward to the prize before us!
Soon His beauty we’ll behold;
Soon the pearly gates will open;
We shall tread the streets of gold.
Soon His beauty we’ll behold;
Soon the pearly gates will open;
We shall tread the streets of gold.
When we all get to Heaven,
What a day of rejoicing that will be!
When we all see Jesus,
We’ll sing and shout the victory!
What a day of rejoicing that will be!
When we all see Jesus,
We’ll sing and shout the victory!
And don't you just hate it when they waste their time in doing something that makes a mama proud? teehe. LOVE IT!!! I love the song - playing for the Glory of God is never a waste of time. Is Em playing by ear or did she have it memorized? Sounds great girls. You will have to give me a concert when we get down there.
ReplyDeleteThey're all playing by ear!
ReplyDeleteSchool went great until math. We are still at it, and should have been done hours ago. Singing the chorus again...
Wow, Sally, you're a posting fool lately! I didn't think I was *that* far behind on commenting on your posts... sheesh.
ReplyDeleteLOVELY music, girls!!! *applause* Great way to put off school, IMHO.
Happy-6-weeks-to-go-Birthday to Cactus Cutie! Sorry, no brussel sprouts in my house. :P
The rain... oh, the glorious rain. I remember those days, Sally. I'll never forget the first time we saw the rain and the park filled with water in the "bowls." People ran outside with air mattresses, boats, anything that floated and played in the water for days. My boys were only too happy to join in. Hubby and I did as well, once. What a glorious thing, is the rain. I doubt I'll ever take it for granted again. Glad you got some. :)
Have a lovely week, and better luck with lessons!
Blessings,
Shani
[...] part I’ve just played around, sometimes playing hymns, sometimes playing Suzuki music. My mom posted a video of us all playing “When We All Get to Heaven”. Tonight I had fun playing songs with [...]
ReplyDeleteSally, tell your ladies that I think they are marvelous and I am inspired to have my crew sing this hymn this morning because of them! At least you've started. The momentum will get you going. Remember that river has a strong current and going upstream is hard! I am still fighting it. But it is easier this week. Oh my that first week was terrible!!! Keep going...
ReplyDeleteJenn
You're not behind at all - you just started yor day entertaining God! That is not a bad thing at all! I know He loved it - as do all of us! Not to worry at all!
ReplyDeleteLovely and a wonderful education in and of itself! (Both the music and the lyrics!) As for the math - I feel your pain! It's a quarter to eight (at night) and we're still not done either. :-(
ReplyDeleteBeautiful song!
