O Father up in Heaven
How good you are to me.
I thank you for the beauty
Of all the things I see;
I thank you for your kindness
In everything you’ve done,
And most of all I thank you
For Jesus, your dear Son.
I’m glad that he was willing
To die for me one day,
So he could be my Saviour,
And take my sins away.
How good you are to me.
I thank you for the beauty
Of all the things I see;
I thank you for your kindness
In everything you’ve done,
And most of all I thank you
For Jesus, your dear Son.
I’m glad that he was willing
To die for me one day,
So he could be my Saviour,
And take my sins away.

Did you write that?
ReplyDeleteKristy
No, I just found it way back in my archives somewhere. Wish I knew who to give the credit to.
ReplyDeleteSo ha ha, no way, I don't write poetry! Believe me, I've tried.
I played your tag game. I also read the story of your long lost friend. That was touching.
ReplyDeleteAmen! I've prayed that recently (but not in poem form, of course!!)
ReplyDeleteHow pretty! That deserves to be on a wall hanging, or bookmark, or something children could memorize and recite!
