Kid for Sale -- 50 Cents

No, not really.  She's too cute to give up.  But honestly, I am SO. WEARY. of toilet training! Just when you think you have it licked, they go and show you who's in control (or not in control, depending how you look at it).  We were doing so well.  No "accidents" (quotes, because sometimes I think it was NOT an accident) in many months.  Then we go to my moms and this child has THREE of them in less than 24 hours!  Two #1's, in which she just stood there, like she had no idea she was spilling warm liquid down her legs, and a #2, which, I thank the Lord, I was not present to witness.  Don't anybody tell me "this too shall pass". I don't believe it will. I fear that somday we are going to have to confess to a suitor that she has a control problem.  Not the usual kind you hear about with married couples. Sigh....

  1. It's normal.. Even mine occasionally does it. They just get busy and don't want to stop to 'go'.

  2. Wow...only 50Cents? Are you sure? I'll take her. How can you possibly want to part with someone SO cute? Potty training is a bummer, but if it's any consolation, it WILL happen.

It took the possibility of maybe having to miss out on swim lessons for my now almost 14 year old to decide to he was going to control himself. We knew he could do it; he just didn't want to! But when I informed him the day before swim lessons were to begin, that he absolutely could not wear his pull-up in the pool, he decided right then and there to be done with his soggy drawers. Halleluia!!

Keep your smile on Sally, it will happen for you too.

    Blessings~

  3. I remember not leaving the house for 2 weeks straight when my kids were potty training. It was a stressful time. But I know you can get through it. :)

  4. Yeah....I had a kid who just would not give it up. Then he had a circumcision at almost age 5, and had to wear dad's long t-shirts and no underwear for while. That sure did it, when I had about given up all hope!

I just love the way you pulled colors out of your painting up top for your template. Nice.

(How is that little boy doing??)

  5. In answer to your question...

I do use the best setting, for quality, on my camera.

I use photobucket to upload my pics, because I like them to be posted small. Before you upload you pick what size to upload.

    I hope this helps you.

    Oh...plus I have a great camera.

Photography has been my hobby for a very long time.

  6. Thanks for stoping on my side of the blog. don't worry about the potty thing it will pass. My dd was doing great for months and then she started having (spills) again. But that was when she was 3 and know she is 9 and has no problems , she would have a problem with me if she knew I was posting this lol. Don't tell!

  7. I'd give anything to have little ones around our house again - even at the potty training stage! I felt like such a failure trying to potty train our oldest, I even had friends praying for me. lol. The doctor reassured me that it would happen & although it took a long time, both our daughters did it, in their own time (when they were 3+ yrs. old). Hang in there!

  8. I SO know what that's like! i think THomas has finally got it, but I shouldn't say that or he'll have an accident. he's 3 and 3/4 years and he hasn't had a accident in 2 months! lets hope he stays that way.
