My DH...Sounds like you're having a good summer!
My DH has been so busy with work this summer - I think camping isn't going to happen this year unless it's in our backyard.

We'll be using quite a bit of ACE and CLE, too - so we'll have to swap stories as the year goes on. ;-)michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07154039920240315400noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5134777892508885758.post-28868500330701994902011-07-20T14:13:26.923-05:002011-07-20T14:13:26.923-05:00Sounds like things are going well. I've always admired families (extended) that get to go to them. You do have a lot going on! I don't have a lot of time for commenting, but for you, I will make time. I like Jane's suggestion. I actually thought of her as I was reading about your quest. :-)Jennifer Hootshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16757290424217660803noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5134777892508885758.post-40946541582707803182011-07-19T19:59:52.618-05:002011-07-19T19:59:52.618-05:00Hi Sally! I'm sure camp was wonderful...beautiful surroundings, God's Word, fellow believers...it had to be nothing but wonderful! The book on photography caught my eye. Isn't God so sweet to provide such treasures :-). I hope Amy gets a camera soon, she's so talented and I enjoy looking at her photos.
Weather wise, I'm sure the temps have been a bit cooler than AZ there. We've had a hotter than usual spring and summer and are in extreme drought conditions (most of OK is). My garden has died except for the onions and our lawn is just tufts of yellowish brown grass amidst dust. The animals are stressed and we're praying for rain fervently.
We are still looking for a new church and have visited many. It's been refreshing and enlightening at the same time. There are many wounds that still need healing. In God's time of course.
Please tell the girls hello from the Sniders. I'm sure everyone is settling in and making friends :-).
Take care and blessings, Julie
P.S. If I had an extra camera here I would send it in a heartbeat. I gave my old point and shoot to Lillie.Juliehttp://lifeatfortyacrefarm.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5134777892508885758.post-6947132148498208632011-07-19T11:55:37.098-05:002011-07-19T11:55:37.098-05:00Perhaps we will just have to do a lot of fieldtrip...Perhaps we will just have to do a lot of fieldtrips together...although that is a lot of driving and $ too. OOORR, we could maybe do a monthly or quarterly arts & academics thing together...we could get other families to join us too if you want, and the kiddos can play instruments...do recitations....& display at tables what they have been working on. How does that sound?PlainJanehttp://www.prairiedays.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5134777892508885758.post-63464690627525515832011-07-19T11:30:57.894-05:002011-07-19T11:30:57.894-05:00So glad you posted!
